The Eastern Corridor Road Project, Lots 5 & 6, connects Damanko to Gbintiri via Bimbila, Yendi, and Gushiegu. It is a national highway with a total length of 167 km, including dual carriageway sections and street lighting in the two main cities, Yendi and Bimbila.

In addition to the major cities, the road serves 46 smaller villages that were previously isolated and lacked adequate access to the main urban centers.

This road forms part of Ghana’s Eastern Corridor, a strategic transport route linking the Port of Tema to Kulungungu on the Burkina Faso border.
