Zagope is proud to share that, last January 19, it received the ISO 37001 certification, granted by the certifying entity RINA.

This recognition is an important milestone and ensures that our Anticorruption Management System meets all the requirements of this standard.

The certification covers our offices in Lisbon, Madeira, Mozambique, Angola, Ghana and Algeria, and all processes, from prospecting to the execution of civil and industrial construction works.

Zagope recognizes the effort and commitment of everyone in this achievement and starts 2021 the best way!

Zagope is proud to share the news of the rehabilitation works on the road section of Cuchi-Cutato, a works contract that is being implemented by the joint-venture Inzag Germany GMBH and GAUFF.

This project includes the rehabilitation of a road with a cross-section of 9 meters, two roadways with 3,50 meters each and a 1-meter kerb on each side.

Zagope is proud to inform you that, last September 18th, Inzag Ghana Branch signed one more contract in Ghana: ECR Lot 1.

The project amounts to 256 million Euros and its scope includes the construction of a highway with 64 km, two viaducts and 11 pedestrian walkways.

Last May 6th, the Metropolitan of Lisbon and Zagope officialized, by signing the contract, the expansion works of the metro that will include the yellow and green lines, between Rato and Cais do Sodré.

This works contract will enable the continuation of the expansion plan of the Lisbon Metropolitan network, thus contributing to the improvement of mobility in the capital, by increasing accessibility and connectivity between public transport modes.

On December 11, Zagope attended the conference ” Francophone Africa: an untapped region?”, with the participation of our Legal Director, Dr. Margarida Damião Ferreira, as a speaker on the Panel “Concrete Perspectives on the Region”” This conference, organized by Vieira de Almeida – Sociedade de Advogados, addressed topics focused on the evolution of Francophone West African countries and was attended by Dr. Paulo Portas as a speaker on Opportunities and Risks: Geopolitics and Geoeconomics in these countries. Finally, a framework was drawn up on Investment and Trade in the Region

On October 18, Zagope’s CEO, João Martins da Silva Neto, attended the Conference “State Budget 2019: Growth Strategies”, organized by PLMJ and Expresso. From taxes to real estate and investment in infrastructures, this conference consisted of a set of debates with entrepreneurs, experts and agents from the most varied quadrants of our economy, where taxation policies that attract private investment as well as prospects of greater public investment in Portugal were discussed .

ZAGOPE’s CEO participated as a speaker in the panel “Portugal Seen From The Outside” , where he stated that he is already witnessing, as of this year, a very relevant resumption of public investment, as is the case of Ferrovia 2020. In addition, he considers that the country today presents very important conditions for engineering, either in the domestic market or in markets such as Africa.

On September 3, The National Institute of Railways of Angola and the Consortium Andrade Gutierrez Engenharia and Zagope Angola signed the Supply and Service Provision Consignment Agreement for the Purchase of ten Quadruple Multiple Diesel Units (DMUs), for the section Bungo-Baia, in the city of Luanda.

This project is part of Angola’s National Development Plan 2018-2022, whose main goal is to promote the rapid rail transport of passengers on the Luanda Railway (CFL).
